I wish the description told that this item would get rusty. Was hoping for no rust.

We do add clear coat to the item to help prevent rust.
Is your item placed outside? Some surface rust still may occur.
In this case, we will send another and ensure to add a few more layers of protective clear coat.
It should ship this week.
