These instructions walk you through how to build a lighted miter saw workbench measuring 8½ feet in length. The design can also be adjusted for custom lengths and widths to better fit your workspace.
This workbench was originally designed to fit a DeWalt 12-inch miter saw (link included in the plans), but the layout can be easily modified to accommodate a wide variety of miter saws. The bench is also built on lockable casters, making it easy to move around the shop for cleaning or repositioning.
The approximate cost of materials for the workbench (not including the miter saw or shop vacuum) is $175–$225, depending on current material prices.
Estimated build time is 2–4 hours, depending on your experience using basic power tools.
The PDF plans include a materials list, accessory list with links, cut list, and detailed step-by-step assembly instructions with illustrations.
